Mugeta Academy (MA)is a non profit organization Located in Ukerewe Island, MA is dedicated to improving education and sports opportunity for the youth on the Island. The Youth on the Island are facing a lot of hardship like Child abuse, lack of exposure to their dreams and careers,education hardship and motivation etc ... Many of them do not have opportunity to reach the required level of education,They also face other challenges like homelessness, drug abuse, and lack hopes and motivation. There aren’t enough opportunities and facilities for those kids to have a better life.
Mugeta Academy (MA) helps young people by recognizing and promoting their talents in sports while supporting them in their school career. The focus is on conveying values for a healthy life and solidarity. MA makes a valuable contribution to the integration of young people and accompanies them as they grow up. MA was founded for young people who want to change their lives positively. We support children and youth aged 4 to 20 by exposing them to more activities such as football trainings, educational trainings, physical and social skills. We know how important it is to convey values and support to young people in this stage of their lives.
Get involved by visiting us at Ukerewe Island which is situated in the Ukerewe District of Tanzania. The shoreline of Ukerewe Island is carved into numerous bays and it is surrounded by at least a dozen smaller islands. Its largest community is Nansio.
